After studying Electrical Engineering at Singapore Polytechnic and working in Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) for 4 years, Regine realised she disliked the political environment in the engineering industry. Upon joining the agency, she has since faced better career prospects and received a higher income. She believes that the amount of hard work put in is handsomely rewarded here, and that her career is in her own control.
