Alan was a NTU Mechanical Engineering graduate, having been offered a scholarship, he started work in Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) . He decided to switch his career as he felt that rewards should be equivalent to effort, and the sky should be the limit, in whatever he wished to earn.

Alan is a TOT qualifying and Life member of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), as well as an AIA MDRT ambassador. Alan was also the first AIA MDRT Chief Ambassador when MDRT Ambassador program was launched. Over the years, he was given many opportunities to share his financial expertise and insurance experience through various platforms in AIA. Over the years, he has coached many individuals achieve their MDRT dreams.

As a Prestige Wealth Director with AIA, he has more than 25 years of experience working with C-suite executives, businessmen, pre retirees and retirees, high net worth individuals and families with children.
